The girls were born 2 years and 30 minutes apart, an oddity the family often celebrated. Later, another daughter was born, Joyce Aileen who did not live past her first year. The fourth daughter, Suzanne June was born in 1943.

Due to Dr Coffman's medical specialty of treating tuberculosis and later emphysema patients (many returning from WWII), the family moved often: Missouri to Oklahoma, then to Texas, Louisiana and finally to Colorado in 1959. ElvaJane & her sisters attended 7 different schools before landing in Wheatridge, Colorado where ElvaJane's father became medical director of Lutheran Hospital Tuberculosis Sanitorium.

Prior to coming to Colorado, she attended North Western State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana in the nursing school. She and her older sister Dorothy Lee were one of 4 sets of sisters studying nursing. Upon moving to Colorado, ElvaJane took a break from school and worked at Saint Anthony's hospital as an admissions clerk. It was there she met Clarence "Sonny" Wright, an accountant with the hospital. They remained a devoted and loving couple until the end of his life, even though they did not marry until 2017, shortly before his death from cancer.

ElvaJane joined her father when he returned to private practice in 1971, running his office and serving as a medical assistant. When he retired in 1986, she returned to her nurse's training and graduated in 1989 from the University of Phoenix. She took many classes to increase her nursing skills, including in Diabetes and rehabilitation. ElvaJane took a break from her career to be the primary care taker of her parents at the end of their lives.

Returning to nursing after their passing, she worked in many different areas of nursing including rehab, general floor nursing, home health care, and finally in Allison Care caring for elderly people in need of consistent skilled nursing care. She continued to work at Allison up until 3 weeks of her own last illness. ElvaJane was diagnosed with endometrial cancer that had metastasized throughout her body. She passed into the arms of her gentle Savior just as the day turned on Oct. 26th 2023. She was a strong and devout Christian, beloved and respected by all who knew and met her.

She will join her parents (Dorothy & Lee Coffman, older sister & brother-in-law (Dorothy Lee & Howard Ritter), husband (Clarence Wright) and many others. She will again see Joyce our sister, and meet 2 nieces that did not survive birth, Christi & Vicki Ritter, and many others. She leaves behind her sister, Suzanne Warner & brother in law Bruce, niece Sheri Ritter-Scott and husband Wayne Scott in Miles City Montana, Chuck and Bev Flirel, Sonny's sister and brother in law, & his nieces and nephews. She was so much loved and will be missed.
