Representatives of Well Known Creole Families Unite in Marriage
Near Mermentau Monday occurred the wedding of Miss Broussard to Mr. Euclide Blanchard. The wedding took place at the residence of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Euclide Broussard and a large number of guests were present.
Among those who attended from this city were Gus E. Fontenot, A. C. Lormand and M. G. Wilkins. The wedding was celebrated in the true old Creole style, a great feast being prepared for the guests who represented many of the leading families of the parish.
