Albert "Fred" Pike, age 69, of Williamsville, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Lincoln Village Healthcare in Lincoln, Illinois.
He was born December 11, 1953 in Lincoln, Illinois. He was raised by Jim and Sarah Fay in Williamsville.
Mourning his passing are his friends, which include Bill and Pat Fawns and the rest of the Fawns family, and the Hamrick family; cousins, Karen and Ken Lindley, and Joyce and Elton Lanier; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his (foster) parents, Jim and Sarah Fay.
He graduated from Williamsville High School in 1973.
Fred worked for the Williamsville School District for 33 years as a custodian at the high school.
He also served for the Williamsville Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years and is a life-member of the Department.
Fred was an avid Chicago Cubs fan all of his life. He also loved watching NASCAR.
Graveside services will be held Monday, November 13, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Walnut Hill Cemetery near Williamsville with Rev. David Beals officiating.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Williamsville Volunteer Fire Department.

Fred was raised by foster parents James Russell Fay (1906-1985, memorial #163502267) and Sarah Colwell Fay (1902-1987, memorial #163530227), from his 6th day of life.
Although Jim and Sarah Fay were the only parents that Fred knew, their memorials are intentionally not linked to avoid the appearance that Fred was their natural child and that he had siblings.
