Richard Broadus "Dick" Culler, Jr., 78, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2018. A native of High Point, NC, Dick also lived for a time in Portland, TX and most recently in Charlotte, NC. Dick graduated from High Point High School where he excelled in several sports. After being named a High School All-American in basketball, he attended and graduated from NCSU. After college, he took over management of his family's business, Autographed Baseball Co. He ran that business, later known as "Autoball" from the early 1960s until 2014. In earlier years, Dick was a scratch golfer, and was a winner of the NC Senior Amateur. He loved going to his favorite place, Sunset Beach, NC and watching vintage movies from the 40's & 50's.
Dick is survived by his son, Andy Culler (wife Jena), his stepdaughter, Romy Brewer (husband Dion); seven grandchildren and step grandchildren; Bonnie Culler, Dalton Culler, Ashley Culler Skutka, Jacob Culler, Bryan Culler, Harrison Brewer, and Maggie Brewer; three great grandchildren; his sister, Nancy Gekas (husband, Harry) and his brother, Larry Culler (Daniel Graves). He is predeceased by his parents Richard Broadus Culler, Sr., and Evelyn Culler Foster, and his son Jeff Culler. A celebration of Dick's life will be held at a later date at Sunset.
