"Adolph Lenski, 82, passed away at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Agawam, MA on Thursday (October 3, 2002). He was born in New Haven on November 16, 1919, the son of the late Isador and Sophie Lenski. Adolph moved to the Springfield, MA area in 1957. He was a 21 year veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in World War II, the Korean and Vietnam Wars, he also served in the Normandy Invasion during World War II. He retired in 1961 with the rank of Chief Petty Officer. He later was employed as a technician for ABB/CE of Windsor, and retired in 1984. He was a parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena Church. Adolph was predeceased by his wife, the late Leonora (Fitzgerald) Lenski in 1992."
