Professional Soccer Player. Samuel Rivas Arámbula displayed a natural talent for soccer from an early age and joined a local youth league to pursue his passion. His professional soccer journey commenced during the 1979-1980 season as a forward for Gallos de Jalisco. During this period, the team returned to the Second Division, leading to Rivas' subsequent transfer to C.D. Guadalajara, where he remained for four years. Notably, he reached the finals of the Mexican league twice during his tenure with the team, narrowly missing out on victory against Puebla in 1983 and América in 1984. In 1985, Rivas embarked on a new chapter by signing with Atlético Morelia, where he continued to showcase his skills until 1988. Following his departure from the team, he briefly joined Tigres F.C. for a single season before ultimately retiring from professional soccer. After retiring, Rivas relocated to Los Angeles, where he dedicated himself to coaching youth teams and nurturing young talent in the sport.
