Mary Bell Crane, wife of James C. Crane committed suicide by shooting herself in the head. She was suffering from severe headaches caused by the fire of her husband's store recently. She leaves her husband, a daughter Edna aged 3, 2 brothers, Edward Odell and Otis Odell of Hutchison, KS; and a father George W. Odell of Arlington, Reno, KS. She was 28 years old, and was a kind friend to all.
