Barbara Giles Kelly, age 92, of Gibsonia, formerly South Hills, on February 25, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Edward T. Kelly. Loving mother of E. Jeffrey (Linda) Kelly, Marybeth Kelly, Nancy (Ron) Paterline and the late Judy Kelly. Sister of the late Mary "Macy" MacWade and Dave Giles. Dear grandmother of Heather (Nick) Sherman, Sean (Kathryn) Kelly, Amy (Ryan) Brown, and Jake Paterline. Also survived by two great-grandchildren, Hadley & Max Sherman.
Barb Kelly, affectionately known as Pete, dedicated her life to her family. Whether it was baking chocolate chip cookies or the best apple pie ever, attending recitals, baseball and hockey games, she was always there for her kids and grandkids. There were countless trips to Kennywood and Volant, hikes, and vacations to Wildwood. She loved the ocean and she never missed Mass. Her greatest joy, however, came from her cats, with whom she is now reunited. She loved puzzles and reading, two passions she has since passed along to younger generations. She will be greatly missed, but forever remembered as a kind mother, loving grandmother, and special person.
