Joyce Ann was my Sister being 9 years and 7 months older than myself.
She was a boisterous person who was happy most of the time.
She loved to cook and was very good at it. She taught your Grandmother most of what she knows about cooking.
When we lived in Southern California back the early 1960's I was in 2nd and 3rd grades, which that made Joyce Ann 16 to 17 years old.
I remember when she got her drivers license she would take our Dad's (your great Grand Father) '57 Chevrolet to the drag races and come home where he would say about her burning the tires and all the rubber was gone. She also used to take the car down to one of the first McDonald's to get 15 cent hamburgers.
We moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming January 1964 Joyce Ann went to the University of Wyoming in Laramie which was about an hour's drive from Cheyenne. I was 10 years old when we moved there. She met her first husband at the University, Phillip Johnston AKA Bud. He came from Guernsey, Wyoming which was a small town of about 245 people about 100 miles North of Cheyenne. Joyce Ann and Bud lived in Guernsey when they were first married and their home was a single wide trailer. I remember she was very happy there.
I hope God made a special place in Heaven for Joyce Ann so she will be Happy for Eternity.
