Barbara Ann (Adams) Corrin, age 93, of Council Bluffs, formerly of Neola, IA, passed away November 6, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Barb was born June 13, 1930 in Neola to the late Thomas M. and Anna B. (Wellman) Adams. She married Freeman R. Corrin on November 30, 1950. Together they farmed in Neola from 1950-2005, raising four children, Richard, Janet, Joyce and Jane. Barb was an active member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Neola.
In addition to her parents, Barb was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Freeman Corrin in 2005; great-grandson, Theodore Walkup; sisters, Trudy Russell, Margaret Johnson and Mary Jo Dressel; brothers, Philip and Joseph Adams.
Barb is survived by her son, Richard (Cathy) Corrin of Neola; daughters, Janet Esch of Omaha, Joyce (Tom) Page, Jane Corrin; honorary daughter, Stacy Beebee all of Council Bluffs; 3 grandchildren, Jasmine (Mark Carlson) Pittack, Amanda (Todd) Johnson, Becca (Casey) Walkup, 7 great-grandchildren, Taylor and Payton Pittack, Charlie Carlson, Lucile Walkup, Beckett, Archer and Sawyer Johnson; brother, Tom (Rosezita) Adams; many nieces and nephews.
Recitation of the Rosary, Tuesday, 5:00 p.m. followed by visitation with the family until 8:00 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Neola. Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Neola with a lunch following in the parish hall.
