She died in an automobile accident at Walker at 11:45 a.m. Saturday. She was a resident of Walker and a 41 year old native of Livingston Parish. She was a member of the Walker Baptist Church. Body at Hollabaugh-Spindle Funeral Home in Denham Springs until 2 p.m. Sunday. Religious services at the Walker Baptist Church at 2:30 Sunday with the Rev. Herman Wilkinson officiating. Burial in the Palmetto Cemetery, Walker. Survivors include her husband, Leon Lovett of Walker; her father, Norris Hood, Denham Springs; three sons, Ronnie Lovett, Slidell, Victor Lovett and Boyce K. Lovett, both of Walker; five daughters, Mrs. Peggy Sibley, Miss Berta E. Lovett, Miss Glenda Sue Lovett and Miss Susan Lovett, all of Walker and Mrs. Shelby Rawls of Denham Springs; two sisters, Mrs. J. R. Courtney of Walker and Mrs. Jake Hopkins of Baton Rouge; six brothers, Norris Hood, Jr., Lester Hood, Durward Hood and Garney Hood, all of Denham Springs, H. A. Hood of Baton Rouge and Burnell Hood of Mathis, Texas; four grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
