Kenny grew up in the small town where he was born and graduated from California High School in 1962. Shortly thereafter, he honorably served his country during the Vietnam War after being drafted into the U.S. Army. Following his military service, Kenny returned to his roots and married the love of his life, Marilyn Sue Fletcher, on February 17, 1967, at the Moniteau Evangelical Advent Church. Together, they built a life through the good and bad times.
Professionally, Kenny was a respected parts salesman in the automotive and heavy equipment industry. His knowledge and skill in his field were only surpassed by his ability to forge lasting relationships with customers and colleagues alike. Kenny's work ethic and dedication were evident to all who worked with him throughout his fruitful career.

He was an active member of the Prairie Home Lions Club and the Moniteau Evangelical Advent Church, where he served on the Cemetery Board.
