Death of Mrs. M. Hyatt

Mrs. Hyatt died Wed., June 12, 1889, after a severe illness of two weeks. From the first attack, it was evident that she could not recover. Mrs. Hyatt was so long and so well known here that the circumstance caused general sorrow. She has been a resident of this vicinity thirty-three years, seventeen of it in the village. She was Catharine Clawson, sister to Abe, Jacob and Sarah Clawson, and Mrs. Sam Boyd, and daughter of Grandma Clawson, now making her home with her son Abe. Mrs. Hyatt leaves two daughter, Maranda, wife of John Rogers, and Ella, wife of Scott Bonnell. Her age was nearly fifty-four.
