The Glasgow Herald, Wednesday, July 4th., 1917. Death notice:-
"EWING.- At Vancouver, B.C., on 3rd (sic) July, James Ewing, chief engineer with the C.P.R. Steamship Co., youngest son of the late Wm. Ewing, Murrow Park, Govan, and beloved brother of Mrs A. Martin, 5 Ardgowan Terrace, Glasgow, W.- Friends please accept this intimation."

Ewing, Wm. foreman carpenter, (at R. Napier & Son's), house, Murrow pk."
