Funeral services for Waymon C. "Buck" Daniel, 93, of Williston, SC will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday, January 10, 2024 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Dan Fogle officiating; burial will follow in the Williston Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home on Wednesday. Memorials may be made to Rosemary Baptist Church P.O. Box 409, Williston, SC 29853 or to the Williston Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 367, Williston, SC 29853. Buck passed away at home on Friday, January 5, 2023.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Eric Smith, Jason Hensley, Kade Hensley, Danny Joe Daniel, Danny Mundy and Mike Rumph.

Born in Anderson County, SC he was a son of the late James Thomas Daniel, Sr. and Tabbie Lou Jenkins Daniel and was married to the late Betty Ann Wilkie Daniel. Buck was a graduate of Honea Path High School and previously was a store manager for Dixie Home Grocery that later became Winn-Dixie. He later went to work and retired from EI DuPont after 33 years as an E&I Supervisor. Buck served in the US National Guard and was a Member of Rosemary Baptist Church where he served as Deacon, Church Treasurer and sang in the choir. He enjoyed being around his family and years ago riding his Harley Davidson with his wife Ann.

Survivors include his daughters, Bonnie D. Yon of Williston and Becky (Mike) Day of Warrenville; his granddaughters, Krissie (Eric) Smith and their daughter Ansley and Stephanie (Jason) Hensley and their son Kade; a sister-in-law Millie Daniel and a number of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son-in-law Bobby Yon; his sisters, Louise D. Arflin, Glenola D. Evatt, Creabelle D. Griffin and Hazel D. Fields and his brothers, David Franklin "Jack" Daniel, James T. Daniel, Jr., and Alvin O. Daniel.

The family would like to thank Nuclear Care Partners and dear caregivers Amber Brown and Winette Uhleg for all of their care and compassion shown to Mr. Daniel over the last several months
