June P. Carter died July 14, 2016 in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 72. She was born May 5, 1944 in California to John P. and Ruth Ellen (Hiatt) Haun.
June was a retired educational administrative assistant.
As a grateful, humble and joyous woman, she embraced life and enjoyed every moment spent with family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; sister, Mary Williams; and brother, John Haun. Survivors included her husband, Victor; children, David (Lisa) Scott, Andrea Stallard, Erik (Julie) Carter and Kellie Boles; 8 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; and brother-in-law, Bill Williams. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 pm Monday, July 18, 2016, at Old Mission Mortuary. She will be missed deeply by all those she touched during her lifetime. (Wichita Eagle July 17, 2016)
