Adolfo Caballero, 62, passed away on May 17, 1993, at his home in Donna. Survivors include nine sons: Moises Caballero and Adolfo Caballero Jr., both of Crane, Texas, and Francisco Caballero, Concepcion Caballero, Guadalupe Caballero, Jose Caballero, Ruben Caballero, Vidal Caballero, and Armando Caballero, all of Donna. He is also survived by five daughters: Dominga Lopez of Crane, Texas, and Gloria Hinojosa, Martina Caballero, Martina Rocha, and Donna Marie Caballero, all of Donna. Additionally, he is survived by a brother, Vidal Caballero, of Donna, and three sisters: Manuela Gonzalez, Isabel Ruelas, and Paula Aldaco, all of Donna. Adolfo is remembered by 35 grandchildren and a great-grandson. The funeral Mass took place at 3 pm today at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Donna, with burial following at Donna City Cemetery. Hawkins Funeral Home in Weslaco handled the arrangements.
