Abigail Aguilera, (nee Jacinto), age 89, late of South Chicago passed away on January 12, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Eduardo for 56 years. Preceded in death by her parents; Ireno and Josifina Jacinto, siblings; Cruz Jacinto, Victor Ruiz, Rebecca Valencia, Joel "Butch" Jacinto, Alfonso "Spanky" Jacinto, Jeremia "Jerry" Jacinto, and Josephine Castillo.

Miss Abbie was a retired employee of the Chicago Public School System at Arnold Mireles School (Formerly Phil Sheridan School). Longtime active member of St. Kevin Church in South Deering. Abigail baked the best cookies, enjoyed crafts, was talented at crochet and an avid watcher of soap operas. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Visitation Friday, January 19, 2024, from 2-9 p.m. Funeral Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 9:15 a.m. from the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Chicago, IL 60617 to Christ Our Light Church (Formerly St. Florian Church). Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
