DEATH OF THE HON. MRS. PONSONBY.- This estimable lady, relict of the late Hon. Richard Ponsonby, Bishop of Derry and Raphoe, died at Portstewart on Wednesday week, at eleven o'clock, a.m., from an attack of bronchitis, which baffled all the efforts of her medical attendants to arrest. During her sojourn at Portstewart her gentle demeanour, unostentatious charity, and Christian character had endeared her to both rich and poor. [Weekly Mail (London) - Sunday 26 December 1858, p.7]
