Anne Marie Langstadtler and Heinrich Christian Gottlob Weise were marred in the Luthern (Evangelische) Church in the town of Körner, Saxony, on 2 May 1847. (Thuringia, Germany Lutheran Baptisms, Marriages, and Burials, 1591-1875). She was 24 years of age and her husband was the same age when they married. They left for the United States soon after their marriage. This couple, who married in Körner, Saxony, in 1847, are the same family from Germany which lived for four or five years in Buffalo, New York, then moved to Cook County, Illinois (where they appear in the 1860 U.S. Census), then moved to Effingham County, Illinois (1870 and 1880 U.S. Census records). Mary's maiden name in the marriage record is Langstädtler, a very German name, but an unusual one. Mary's maiden name is given in vital records in the United States. The baptism/christening record of their son Gottfried Weise in Buffalo, NY (1851) and the baptism/christening records of their other two children born in Buffalo give her maiden Name. The marriage record of their son Henry (Heinrick) Weise in Illinois identifies his mother as "Mary Langstadler" (Catholic Diocese of Springfield; Springfield, Ill; Illinois, Church Records, 1853-1975).

Gottlieb and Mary Weise first lived in Buffalo, New York, which in the 1840s and 1850s had a significant ethnic-German community. They lived there for about five years, and while there, Mary gave birth to three children, the first of whom was a daughter who died one month after her birth. The family then lived for about a decade in Cook County, Illinois. They then settled for a longer time in Effingham County, Illinois. In 1883 Gottlieb and Mary moved to Hand County, South Dakota, where Gottlieb died not long after their arrival. At the time of the 1900 U.S. Census, Mary Weise was living with the family of her daughter Louisa Dorothy (Weise) Waltemath in Miller, Gentry County, Missouri. Ironically, Mary (Langstädtler) Weise is recorded twice in the 1900 U.S. Census for Gentry County, Missouri. In addition to being recorded with the family of her daughter Louisa Dorothy (Weise) Waltemath, she is also recorded living with her granddaughter Christina Dorthea (Weise) Shidler (the daughter of Mary's son Gottfried). The Shidler family lived for a time in South Dakota, but moved to Gentry County, Missouri, where Christina Dorthea's aunt Louisa Dorothy (Weise) Waltemath was living.

After the death of Anna Marie "Mary" Weise in 1900 (a few months after the 1900 U.S. census was taken), Mary Weise was buried in the King City Cemetery, Gentry County, Missouri. Her daughter Louisa (Weise) Waltemath and her son-in-law Henry Waltemath, as well as a granddaughter and grandson-in-law were also buried in the King City Cemetery.
