Judith Ryan Obituary
Judith DeWitt Ryan died Sunday, June 25, 2023 at the age of 81 with her family by her side.
Judy was born in Norristown, PA and grew up in Ewing, NJ. She graduated Ewing High School in 1960 and graduated the College of New Jersey in 1964. She married Raymond Ryan in 1965 and they moved to Toms River in 1966. She worked for Toms River Schools for 22 years in the elementary schools.
Judy enjoyed all the activities of her 3 children and 6 grandchildren. She enjoyed watching their sports, H.S. band, dance, cheerleading, and sailing activities. Judy was happiest boating on the Barnegat Bay, golfing, cruising, reading, and traveling. In their retirement, Ray and Judy spent many enjoyable years in St. Augustine, Florida with their family and friends.
Judy is predeceased by her parents Richard F. and Emily Sexton DeWitt.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ray Ryan, three children, Gary Ryan of Potomac Falls, VA, Jeff Ryan and his wife Colleen of Forked River, and Stacey Ryan of Toms River and her six grandchildren, Tyler and Trevor Ryan, Mackenzie and Connor Ryan, and Amanda and Kelley Buscio.
A memorial gathering will be offered Saturday, July 22, 2023 2:00pm – 5:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River.
