Adele Boroson-Greenberg, 100, died on May 22, 2023 in New Haven, CT. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was born on May 14, 1923, in Brooklyn, NY, to Harry and Clara Rosenbluth.
Adele was a social worker who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, reading literature and poetry, going to museums and the theater, baking, and playing bridge. She was a social activist, arts enthusiast, and lifelong learner.
Adele is survived by her sons, Jonah Ohayv, Kenneth Boroson (Linda), David Boroson (Mea), Michael Boroson (Amy) her step-daughter, Leslie Gibb (Jason) twelve grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Elsie and Mildred, her brother, Sol, her husband, Robert Greenberg, her grandsons, Scott and Matthew Boroson, and her great-grandson, Theo Boroson.
A graveside funeral service will be held on October 29, 2023, at 11 a.m. at King David Memorial Gardens, Falls Church, VA. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
The family thanks Evelyn, Tonya, and Tywana for their loving care.
