Joseph Zingaro, 80, of 117 Glen Ave., Ellwood City, died today, Sept. 19, 1980, in the Ellwood City Hospital, following a one-week illness. Born Dec. 29, 1899, in New Castle, Pa., son of the late Patsy and Victoria DiTommaso Zingaro, he was an employee of U.S. Steel Corp., Ellwood City Works, retiring in 1965; was a member of the Purification Catholic Church, Ellwood City and the Sons of Italy, Lodge No. 608. Friends will be received Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Samuel Teolis Funeral home, 309 Spring Ave., Ellwood City. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in the Purification Church by Rev. Francis Pucci. Entombment will take place in St. Peter's Mausoleum, St. Agatha Catholic Cemetery, Ellwood City. A rosary will be recited Sunday at 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
