Daniel Beinbrech the senior, born 30 November 1721 Pirmasens, Pirmasenser Stadtkreis, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany died 12 October 12, 1789, in Franklin County, PA.
He emigrated to America settled in a wilderness called "Pigeon Hills" approximately four miles north of Hanover in Berwick township, Adams (formerly York) County, PA. On 8 September 1762, Daniel received a Proprietary warrant for one hundred acres of land in Guilford township, Cumberland (now Franklin) County, PA. It lies along the State highway leading from Waynesboro to Chambersburg at what is commonly referred to as "Grindstone Hill.) Following his death in two tracts called "Richdal" and "Guildhill" his homestead was patented to his sons Franklin Beinbrech and Daniel Bonbright,

He was the son of Johann Theobald Beinbrech (circa 1689-1766). which had been born and died in Germany, wed Anna Engle (Zimbach, and like his father was a schoolmaster. They had the following Children:
(1.) John Nocholas Beinbrech born in 1714 and d.1 December 1753. He wed, 1 August 1741, to Maria Elisabetha{sic), daughter if Heninrich and Gertrud (Ostler) Kleim.
(2.) Johann Adam Beinbrech b.5 May 1718-d. 6 October 1783 married, 19 July 1747, Anna Catharina, daughter of Martin Ann Gagdalena (Stine) Weissmann, and widow of Heinrich Leonard.
(3.) Christian Wilhelm Beinbrech b. 1723-d. 1741.
(4.) Peter Beinbrech died 23 August 1748, aged twenty-two years,
(5.) Eve Catharina Beinbrech b.1727- d. 1741.

Daniel's grandfather Johann Christian Brinberch was baptized 9 February 1642, in the Reformed church at Saanen, Bern Caton Switzerland. His mother was Barl{sic}, nee Moser, wife of Marti {sic} Futsceli, and his father was purportedly a certain Anthoi Beinbrach. During the Thirty Years War, Johann fled to different parts of Germany. and died 9 October 1714, at Etschberg. From a document signed 26 February 1714, in which Johann Christain Beinbrech and his serving offspring renounced their Swiss nationality, as well as from various church records. He married Maria whose last name has not been ascertained They had a least eleven children.

Daniel the senior wed Anna Maria (Conrad) the daughter of Mathias and Catherine Gertrude (Lauterjung) Conrad. Daniel married Anna Maria Conrad both lie buried in the Grindstone Hill Cemetery. They had the following children:

(1.) Daniel Bonbright Jr. married Catharine, b. 16 May 1760, a daughter of George Hartzok. He served in the American Revolution War.
(2.) Johan Henry Beinbrech b. 20 June 1753 married Christina and removed to the vicinity of Malvern, Stark County, Ohio.
(3.) Peter Bonebrake{sic} he was an American Revolutionary soldier from Franklin County, PA. He married Catharine, daughter of George Adam Cook, of Quincy township. Burial location not established.
(4.) Dewalt Theobald Bonebrake b.1 October 1755-d. 29 August 1824, served in American Revolutionary War from Franklin County. He married Christina A. Wolfe b. 31 August 1764-d. 9 July1851. They removed to Preble County, Ohio.
(5.) Johan (John) Frederick Beinbrech (1757-1817) served in the Revolutionary War, married Christina her maiden name not ascertained dwelt upon the homestead at Grindstone Hill.
(6.) Johan (John) Adam Beinbrech (1765-1766).
(7.) Mary Catherine Beinbrech (1767-1839).
(8.) Elisabeth Beinbrech (1768-1842) married a Kyser.
(9.) Conrad Bonebrake (1768-1844) married Mary "Molly," daughter of Henry Thomas.
(10.) George Bonbrake (1769-1873).

Inscription

Daniel Beinbrech died in the year of the Lord 1789 12th October, I die willing for after death. My happiness will begin in place of affliction, misery, fear and troubles. God will give me pleasure (joy). The cup of tears will become full of wine. The grief will become nothing but pure rejoicing (so) full of such joyous life."
