ALLENTOWN - George W. Greene, 77, of Balls Ferry Road, died Saturday in a Macon hospital. Services will be held at 4P.M. Monday, July 5, 2004, in the Allentown United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Allentown City Cemetery. Rev. Robert L. Herrington, Rev. Billy Wicker and Rev. Jeff Alligood will officiate. -Mr. Greene was a native of Laurens County living most of his life in Allentown. He was the sons of the late Herbert L. and Ruby Alley Greene. Mr. Greene was a salesman and a Veteran of the United States Army serving in WWII. He was a member of the Allentown United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his brother, Herbert W.
