Neil Taylor, age 57 of Carneys Point died suddenly Monday, June 27, 2005 at the Memorial Hospital of Salem County. Born in Philadelphia, son of the late Ronald and Frances Kletman Taylor, he had been a resident of Carneys Point for the past 23 years. A 1969 graduate of Temple University, Mr. Taylor retired from Penns Grove High School where he had taught English for 27 years and had also coached the girls softball team, and for the past three years had been teaching at Park Bible Academy, Pennsville. He had been an active member of Calvary Baptist Church, Carneys Point, and a member of Gideons International. He enjoyed playing golf.
Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Deanne (nee Trostel) and a son, Joshua, at home. Funeral services will be held in Calvary Baptist Church, 300 Georgetown Rd., Carneys Point where friends are invited to call. Interment will be in the First Baptist Church Cemetery, Pedricktown. Arrangements are under the direction of the ASHCRAFT FUNERAL HOMES, Penns Grove and Pennsville.
