Hannah M. Bingham, 81, widow of Willard Eugene Bingham, well-known resident of Weber county, died at the family residence, 2068 Madison, at twelve thirty-five a. m. today. She had been ill since last April.
Mrs. Bingham was born West Weber, April 30, 1863, a daughter of James and Hannah Boyack McFarland, early Utah pioneers. Her early life was spent in West Weber and Wilson. She was married to Mr. Bingham in the L. D. S. Salt Lake temple, May 11, 1879. Mr. Bingham died in Ogden, Dec. 13, 1918. She had been active all her life in church work, especially in Relief society, Sunday school and choir.
She moved to Ogden in 1919, following the death of her husband. She was a member of the L. D. S. Fourth ward. Her seventy-fifth birthday anniversary was celebrated by her family at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Ethel Anderson, when many friends attended.
Survivors include the following sons and daughters: Eugene Bingham, Salt Lake City; Charles J. Bingham, Twin Falls, Idaho; William Spencer Bingham, Burley, Idaho; Mrs. Dwella Victor, Brigham City; Joseph H. Bingham, Rupert, Idaho; Mrs. Anderson, Delbert W Bingham, John H. Bingham and Mrs. Luella Cowles, Ogden; also two brothers, James B. McFarland, Ogden; Alex McFarland, Heman, Idaho; two sisters, Mrs. Isabelle Bingham, Smithfield, and Mrs. Rose Nielson, Ogden; also 53 grandchildren and 56 great-grandchildren. Ten grandsons are in the armed forces.
Funeral services will be held Monday at one p. m. in the L. D. S. Fourth ward, with Bishop E. T. Saunders officiating. Interment will be in Ogden city cemetery, directed by the mortuary, 3408 Washington.
