Boners Married 50 years

Mr. And Mrs. Philip Boner, above, 1825 Kennedy, will observe Monday the 50th anniversary of their wedding. A nuptial mass will be said at 8:a.m. Monday at St. Patrick's church and open house will be from 2 until 5:30 p.m. at the Boner home.

Monday will mark the 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. And Mrs. Philip Boner, 1825 Kennedy and an all day celebration is planned to commemorate the events.

Mr. And Mrs. Boner were married 50 years ago in the basement of what is now St. Patrick's church and they will re-enact the ceremony at a nuptial mass in the church at 8 a.m. Monday. Celebrant of the mass will be Mrs. Boner's brother, Reb. Fr. William Kipp of Colorado Springs Colo. Rev. Kipp also remarried his and Mrs. Boner's parents on their golden wedding anniversary.
Following the mass, a breakfast will be held for Mr. And Mrs. Boner and their family in the church hall. All of the Boner children will be present to honor their parents Monday. They are Mrs. Frank Agnew, Salt Lake City: Mrs. Edwin Davis, Olympia, Wash; Charles Boner, San Francisco; and Mrs. Ira Haskett, and William, Hugh, and Joe Boner, all of Parsons.

The Boners have 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren, several of who will attend the wedding and other events of the day. Four of the granddaughters will attend Mrs. Boner during the mas and two grandsons will serve at the altar.

From 2 to 5:30 p.m. a reception will be held at the Boner home. Mr. And Mrs. Boner have urged all their friends to call during the afternoon and to attend the nuptial mass.
