SERVICES TODAY FOR RAYMOND T. EATON
Funeral services are being held at 2:30 p.m. today for Raymond Thomas Eaton, who died Monday night from a sudden heart attack at his home near Little River. Rev. Merton Spaulding will officiate in the Methodist Church. Burial is in Bean cemetery.
He was born at Arapahoe, Nebraska on May 25, 1896 and was married to Hattie Johnson in Lyons on June 15, 1927. He came to the Little River community at the age of 17, from Nebraska, and had farmed in this community for 53 years.
He was a member of the Methodist Church and veteran of World War I.
Survivors are his wife and one daughter, Genevieve of the home; four sisters, Mrs. Leland Rutherford, Mrs. John Bush and Mrs. Ray Folck, all of Little River and Mrs. Albert Brown, Eugene Oregon; and one brother, Lloyd of Chadron, Nebraska.
