Stanley Duane Minger

February 5, 1953  -  February 15, 2024


Stanley Duane Minger, 71 of Warriors Fork, Mannington, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Mon Health Medical center in Morgantown. He was born February 5, 1953 at Evans Run, Mannington, a son of the late Harold Gene Minger and Alma Ann Wyckoff Frye.


Stanley was employed by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for 25 years in maintenance. His pride was his grandkids whom he enjoyed spending time with and watching them play sports. He also enjoyed hunting and cook outs at his cabin with family and friends, riding his side by side with the boys, and taking care of his farm.


Survivors include his daughter: Tiffany Lee (Patrick Scott) Miller; grandchildren: Nathan Scott and Evan Lee Miller; siblings: Ronnie Eugene (Rebecca) Minger, Bryan Dwight Minger, John Howard Frye, Jr., and Terry (Dawn) Frye; several nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law: Charlotte (Carl) Postlethwait, Barbara Minger, Mary Jane Carman, and Patty Hayes Carman.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Nora Lee Carman Minger whom he married October 9, 1971, a child: Duane Von Minger, and a sibling Barry Leon Minger.


Friends may call at the Hutson Funeral home, 500 E. Main Street, Mannington on Monday from 2-8 p.m. where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday.


Interment will follow at the Minger Family Cemetery at Warriors Fork.
