Nora Lee Minger, 64, of Mannington, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown after a long illness. She was born September 2, 1953 at Rush Run (Wetzel County), a daughter of the late Charles Kenneth Carman and Wanda Vivian Henderson Carman.

Nora was a Seminary Teacher for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints (Mannington Branch). She loved genealogy, riding horses, and gardening. She also loved Templework and was the biggest cheerleader for her grandson's football.

Survivors include her husband, Stanley Duane Minger, whom she married October 9, 1971; a daughter: Tiffany Lee (Scott) Miller of Mannington; Grandchildren: Nathan Scott Miller and Evan Lee Miller; a sister: Charlotte (Carl) Postlethwait of Metz' a brother: Charles David (Mary Jane) Carman of Rivesville; several nieces and nephews and extended family.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son: Duane Von Minger, 2 sisters: Nancy Kay Ott and Debra Lynn Carman, and a brother: Kenneth Nile Carman.

Friends may call at the Hutson Funeral Home, 500 E. Main St., Mannington, on Thursday, February 7, 2019 from 4-8 p.m. where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday with President William Foley officiating. Interment will follow at the Minger Family Cemetery, Warrior Fork Road near Mannington.
