Tazewell, Va, Dec 14. - Mrs Dr Baylor died at the home of her brother S J Thompson in the Cove last Monday morning. She leaves, besides her husband, five children to mourn the irreparable loss. The funeral services took place at the church in the Cove, Wednesday morning, after which the remains were removed to Wardell, and laid to rest in the old family burying ground. This sad death was caused from a complication of diseases which seemed to baffle all medical skill and the closest attention and nursing. Mrs Baylor was a daughter of the late James W Thompson. The funeral services were conducted by Rev W W Carson, the pastor of her church.
