Arthur B. Eastman, Jr., 89, of 675 Willow Valley Square, Lancaster, PA died Thursday, April 24th at the Glen at Willow Valley. He was the husband of Emily Ascough Eastman. Born in Norristown, PA he was the son of the late Arthur Sr., and Helen Henkel Eastman. A 1940 graduate of the University of Delaware, he retired in 1984 from E.I. DuPont Co. where he was a design engineer.

Mr. Eastman was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Lancaster. He was a resident of Willow Valley Lakes Manor since 1987 where he was a former treasurer of the resident council and chairman of the wood shop.

Prior to moving to Lancaster, he was a former member, Elder and Clerk of Session at the Red Clay Creek Presbyterian Church in Wilmington, DE.

He resided at Limestone Acres, Wilmington, DE, where he served as past president and treasurer of the Limestone Acres Maintenance Corp. He was also a member of the Ionic Masonic Lodge # 31 in Newport, DE.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial service from the Thomas Auditorium, at Willow Valley Lakes Manor, 300 Willow Valley Lakes Dr., Willow Street, PA on Wednesday, April 30th at 10:00 a.m. The family will meet with friends immediately following the memorial service. Private interment will be in Red Clay Creek Cemetery, Wilmington, DE. Please omit flowers. If desired, contributions in Mr. Eastman's memory may be sent to First Presbyterian Church, 140 E.
