Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 from the L.D.S. church for Lawrence Stanger, 43, who passed away at his home in Jerome at 2:45 Wednesday morning. He has been in poor health for some time.
Mr. Stanger and his family came to Jerome from Hansen about 10 years ago. He was born in West Weber, Utah on Oct. 26, 1896.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nellie Stanger; three daughters, Marcella Arvilla and Loree Stanger; and three sons, Lawrence Ray, James Kenneth and Marvin Douglas, all of Jerome.
His father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Stanger live in Hansen. He also has seven brothers: James, William, Merle and Abram of Hansen; John and Leland of Kimberly and George of Lancaster, Cal.
Burial will be in the Jerome Cemetery with the Wiley Funeral home handling the arrangements.
