Funeral for Flossie Lucille McCray, 90, Purcell, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel, Purcell with the Rev. Barry McConathy officiating.
Mrs. McCray died Sunday, April 27, 2008.
Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Purcell.
She was born April 24, 1918, in Marshall, Ark., to James Carroll Harness and Lucy Elizabeth Venables. She grew up on a farm near Mountain View, and graduated from Cowden High School. During World War II she was a "Rosie The Riveter" in an airplane factory in Dallas. She married Warren T. McCray on Feb. 5, 1945 in Oklahoma City. She and her husband raised Quarter Horses for show. She was a charter member of First Baptist East in Lawton.
Survivors include a son and his wife, Dennis McCray and wife Sherry; two grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
