Frederick Lindy, 85, went to his heavenly home on November 18th, 2023.

Fred had the highest devotion to God, family and friends. His firm belief in our Lord is what gave him peace. Fred was blessed with a devoted and loving family as well as a wonderful church family. He was married to his best friend and partner in life Shirley Lindy on December 1, 1963. His wife went home to be with our Lord on January 7, 2019. Together, they lived a wonderful and treasured marriage of 55 years. They have two daughters, Amy and Janessa whom they loved more than life.

Born July 31, 1938 to Frederick and Eunice Lindy. His parents were hard working, rural tenants in Indiana. They had 7 children. After schooling, Frederick went to John Marshall Law School. He and his wife moved from Indiana to Arizona in 1972. He retired from APS and SRP.

Frederick devoted his life not only to his family, but to his church family and friends. Volunteering and helping others are what he enjoyed the most. He taught Sunday School, was a deacon most of his life in church, enjoyed prayer time and apple fritters with friends and running errands for those who couldn't drive. He was never about himself, always about putting others first. He was a great servant of God.

Frederick is survived by his daughters Amy Coday and Janessa Rudolph, Son-in-Laws Ed Coday and Troy Rudolph and 5 grandchildren Samantha Hoover and her husband Adam Hoover, Jake Coday, Emily Rudolph, Taylor Rudolph and Tatum Rudolph.
