Hilda Clara (Sievers) Hunecke 87, of Staunton, Illinois passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Heritage Health in Staunton, Macoupin Co, Illinois. Born February 20, 1933 in Olive Township, Madison Co, Illinois. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs Henry and Della (Ahrens) Sievers. She married Erhardt W Hunecke on Novermber 27, 1971 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Livingston, Madison Co, Illinois and he passed on March 21, 2012. Hilda was a homemaker and a childcare giver for many years.
She survived by one daughter Karen (Brian) Dustman of Staunton, Illinois, two grandchildren, Hannah and Andrew Dustman. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother Herbert.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 am on Wednesday, Dec 30, 2020 at Zion Lutheran Church in Staunton, Macoupin Co, Illinois. Funeral service will follow at 11 am Zion Lutheran Church with Rev. Kelly Mittens officaating. Burial will be held at Spangle Cemetery near Livingston, Madison Co, Illinois. Memorials are suggested to either Zion Lutheran Church of Staunton, or to Spangle Cemetery.
