Gr grandmother Laura married Willis R. Allen Oct 18, 1885 Williamson County, possibly in the town of Rock Creek. They moved to Stoddard County, Missouri sometime before 1905. Willis died Feb 5, 1905 Stoddard County, however no record of where he is buried; only 37 yrs old. He was born May 3, 1867 Brushy, Saline County, Illinois the son of William B. Allen of Wilson County, Tennessee & Elizabeth Caroline Arnold of Hickman County, Tennessee. They moved to Saline County in 1850 & he died & buried there Aug 1887; 53 yrs old. Elizabeth 'Betsie' moved to Stoddard County, Missouri & then Butler County, Missouri died there Jul 1919 & buried in Mole Hill Cemetery; 95 yrs old. My father was named after his grandfather Willis & his father Elmer; Willis Elmer Allen.
