Mrs. Meadows was born on Nov. 10, 1921, in Halifax Co., Va., to the late Quinnie C. and Grace Tuck Atkins. She was a World War II Navy veteran and was retired from Fieldcrest Mills.
Surviving are son Posie Meadows Jr., of Eden; four grandchildren, Kimberly Walker of Fieldale, Va., Linda Meadows of Lawrenceville, Ga., Quinnie S. Meadows Jr., of Orlando, Fla.; Posie Meadows III, of Eden; three great-grandchildren; niece Jane Wirt of Fieldale, Va.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Posie Meadows Sr., son Quinnie S. Meadows, sister Lucille Hudnall and brother Leonard S. Atkins.
