Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Starbuck Mortuary Chapel for Janie W. Simpson, 91, who died Saturday at Lompoc District Hospital. Rev. Kenneth Boyd of the First Presbyterian Church will officiate at private interment which will be Wednesday morning at Glen Haven Memorial Park in San Fernando.
Born in Scotland in 1882, Mrs. Simpson was a California resident for 24 years and a Lompoc resident for 11, last residing at 121 Huntington Place.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Lucille Hood, of Lompoc.
Friends may make contributions to the Lompoc District Hospital.
