Hilda Harrell "Love" Little, 71, died at home surrounded by her family on Monday, Feb. 27, 2006 after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Little was born in Greene County and was raised at the Baptist Children's home in Middlesex, where she met her husband and best friend. She was a native of Pitt County and lived most of her adult life in Greenville. She retired from Rubbermaid, and was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church of Greenville.
Mrs. Little was preceded in death by her parents, James and Fanny Harrell; brothers, James and Ashley Harrell; and sisters, Thelma Suggs and Willie Dixon.
