To all whom it may Concern:

Know ye, that William J. Bebb, a Private of Captain Nat Potter, Company "A", 26th Regiment of Ohio Infantry VOLUNTEERS who was enrolled on the 10th day of June, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-one, to serve three years or during the war, is hereby DISCHARGED from the service of the United States this Eighth day of June 1864, at Columbus Ohio by reason of expiration of term. (No objection to his being re-enlisted is known to exist.*) Said William J. Bebb was born in Butler County in the State of Ohio, is 22 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high, fair complexion, blue eyes, dark brown hair, and by occupation, when enrolled, a Farmer. Given at Columbus, Ohio, this eighth day of June 1864.

One thousand eight hundred and sixty six personally appeared
Before me, the undersigned, a Justice of the Peace for the county
and State above mention, William J. Bebb
who, being duly sworn according to law, declares that he is the
identical William J Bebb who was
a Private in the company commanded by
Captain Nat Potter in the regiment
26th Ohio commanded by ________________________;
that he enlisted on the 10th day of June 1861
for the term of three years as was discharged
at Columbus Ohio on the 8th day
of June 1864 by reason of expiration
of term of service.
