He was one of a liter of six, four girls and two boys; he was the runt of the liter. His mother was a full bread Labrador, his father was a Labrador mix and other unknown. He was given to Bernard and Charlotte when he was just six weeks old. As a puppy, he was very small, but he grew up to be a large beautiful dog with a jet black silky coat, almost looking like mink. He was one of the best dogs ever born and he is terribly missed. He was very protective, but loved people. He sometimes acted more like a human than an animal. Jake had his own of everythihg at home, and yes, he was spoiled.
