Henry C. Hobaugh, 83, rural route 2, Camden, died at the Home hospital in Lafayette at 4 p. m. Monday. He has been a patient there since November 27 .
Born July 14, 1882, in Carroll county, he was the son of Oscar and Amanda Ireland Hobaugh. His first marriage was to Anna Dunn, who died in 1929. On Jun 7, 1935, he married Eva Doty who survives. He was a retired employee of the Haugh Coal company and member of the Delphi Methodist church.
Survivors besides the widow include four sons, Aron and Charles, both of Michigan; Ernest, Delphi, and Clarence, Lafayette; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Sholty, Mrs. Edith Plumb, and Mrs. Ida Mae Mitchell, all of Lafayette; four step-children , Edgar Doty, Radnor; Donald, Logansport; Mrs. Francis Randolph and Mrs. Joseph Moon, both of Burrows; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Final rites will be at 2 p. m. Thursday at the Jackson funeral home here. The Rev. David Abel and the Rev. O. P. Manke will officiate, with burial in the Delphi Masonic cemetary. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday and Thursday .
