She was the daughter of Darwin and Elvira Davis Reed, born in Hermon on March 10, 1870. She married Arthur Booth on January 1st, 1897 in Hermon. The couple raised their niece, Myrtle Buck from a young child until her marriage to Roy Butterfield who moved to Massachusetts after her marriage.

She was survived by her husband, a brother Donald and her niece Myrtle, along with two grandchildren. A brother Jesse predeceased her in 1935, as did another brother Ernest in 1927.
