She was born Jan 28, 1906, the daughter of Guiseppe and Constance Angotti Minard. She was preceded in death by her husband Vincent Ielapi in 1941(sic). She is survived by 2 daughters, Elizabeth Ielapi and Angela Ielapi, both of Bridgeport; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph and Katheryn Ielapi and Michael and Darlene Ielapi, both of Bridgeport; one sister, Virginia Oliverio of Clarksburg; 10 grandchildren & 17 greats. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Constance Marie Shields; a son, Samuel Ielapi; 3 sisters, Mary Skinner, Catherine Mahoney and Ann Alvino; 4 brothers, Michael, Samuel, Ernest and an infant brother, Albert (sic) Minard. Mrs Ielapi assisted in establishing the Twin Oaks Restaurant in 1947. She was very involved with many of the aspects of the family business especially creating many of the wonderful recipes. She was noted for "Mom Ielapi's Lasagna". She was a Catholic by faith and a member of the All Saints Catholic Church in Bridgeport. Friends will be received at the church on Monday. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday with Father Harry N. Cramer as celebrant. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in Clarksburg. Arrangements by Ford Funeral Home in Bridgeport. NOTE: her husband died in 1943 and her infant brother was Umberto, not Alfred.
