Aged 80 years, James and Susie Walkingstick were Old Settlers. They left their home in the Old Cherokee Nation, Ellijay, Georgia and emmigrated to Arkansas in 1834. On 22 Feb 1834. Susie and the children arrived 16 May 1834. One of their sons, Edward died 18 May 1834. James and Susie were on what was called the "Tears of Condron"
