Mildred Madden, 94, died yesterday at the Nevins Nursing Home. Born, raised and educated in Methuen, she had lived there all her life. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Lawrence where she also belonged to the Priscilla circle at the friendly seniors. Before she lost most of her vision, she spent much time crocheting and making braided rugs. She was the widow of Patrick Madden and family members include her daughters Mrs. Edwin W. Miller of North Andover, and Dorothy Lavin of Epson, NH, sister Ruth Charest of Methuen, one grandson and several nieces and nephews. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery. (11/22/1994)
