Mrs. Littlefield was born at College Grove, but grew up in Murfreesboro, TN, where her father owned and operated the Ogilvie Lumber Company. After high school, she attended Christian College for Women in Columbia, MO. While residing in Nashville, she was employed by the Cain-Sloan Company, now part of the Dillards Corporation.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Kemp Littlefield, Sr., who she married on Feb. 16, 1952. Two sons, Thomas Kemp Littlefield, Jr. of Suffolk, VA and Samuel Dunham Littlefield of Midland, TX; a daughter, Susan Liles Littlefield of Weston, MA, and four grandchildren.
After moving from Nashville some 11 years ago, the Littlefields made their home in Daytona Beach Shores, FL.
Graveside services and burial were conducted Dec. 12 at the Ogilvie Cemetery in College Grove.
