Kenneth Bauman, 78, of Monticello died November 14, 1990 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. Funeral services were held November 17 at Mackey-Wright Funeral Home with burial in the Monticello Cemetery.

Mr. Bauman was born April 26, 1912 at Decatur, s/o Ernest and Cora Erienbusch Bauman. He married Margaret Westervelt on May 10, 1941 at Decatur. She survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Barbara Jean Lintner, Monticello; two grandchildren; one step-brother, Carl Callison of Farmer City.

Mr. Bauman retired in 1969 as the owner/operator of Bauman Funeral Home, Monticello. He was a 56-year member of Illinois and National Funeral Directors Associations; and a founding member of the Monticello Chamber of Commerce; member of Monticello Rotary Club; and member of the Pico Rams amateur ham radio club.

Mr. Bauman was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Monticello. Memorial contributions may be made to an organization of the donor's choice.
